Founded in 1980 in Toronto’s Kensington Market by president Robert Lang, Kensington is one of Canada’s leading documentary and factual production companies. We have conceived and produced a wide variety of exceptional, award-winning documentaries, television series and transmedia projects. From high-profile television events to moving personal stories, from ground-breaking science to popular factual series, our productions have earned an international reputation for innovation and imagination.
Recent TV productions include Why We Dance and Nature’s Cleanup Crew for CBC The Nature of Things, Arte, ZDF and others,, the feature and 2-part documentary The Shadow Of Gold for TVO and Arte France, one-hour documentaries Champions vs. Legends, Risk Factor, The Equalizer, and three seasons of the international hit TV series Museum Secrets, filmed at great museums of the world.
