Founded in 1980 in Toronto’s Kensington Market by president Robert Lang, Kensington is one of Canada’s leading documentary and factual production companies. We have conceived and produced a wide variety of exceptional, award-winning documentaries, television series and interactive projects. From high-profile television events to moving personal stories, from ground-breaking science to popular factual series, Kensington has earned an international reputation for compelling, imaginative productions.

Recent TV productions include Fluid: Life Beyond the Binary, Why We Dance and Nature’s Cleanup Crew for CBC The Nature of Things, Arte, ZDF and others, the feature and 2-part documentary The Shadow Of Gold for TVO and Arte France, one-hour documentaries The Equalizer, Champions vs. Legends, Risk Factor, and three seasons of the international hit TV series Museum Secrets, filmed behind the scenes at the great museums of the world. Over recent years we produced two popular innovative mobile apps: Risk Navigator and Scopify.
