Shameless Idealists, our new series profiling activist celebrities, is set to broadcast over the holidays. Magic Johnson, Richard Branson, Nelly Furtado, Rick Hansen – while their names and public profiles are familiar, the intimate stories of these luminaries are not.
Each half hour program reveals how these extraordinary individuals overcame personal challenges to achieve global success in their fields and how they subsequently became motivated to become leaders in socially responsible endeavours. Each of their stories is insightful and unique. They inspired us with their honesty, commitment and generosity…we hope they will do the same for you over the holidays.
