Amanda here – Welcoming you to Inside Kensington, the official blog of Kensingtontv.com!
I’ve just joined the team at Kensington as the lead for social media marketing and I’m very enthusiastic about the exciting documentary projects underway here at our bustling office in Toronto.
Since I’ve started, I’ve been happy to learn more about Kensington’s award-winning television and interactive media productions and to discover the range of material being created here — Everything from moving personal stories to performing arts and innovative online experiences. Kensington’s diverse productions share a commitment to imagination, intelligence and passion.
Inside Kensington will be a place where we give you a peak under the hood at what we do and how we do it. I’ll also aim to have some posts that touch on documentary film industry news and keep you updated on our new projects. More on this in future posts… but to start, in case you’re not familiar with Kensington’s work, check out this demo reel produced in 2008 featuring excerpts from some of our better known productions Diamond Road, 72 Hours (true crime), Exhibit A hosted by Graham Greene, The Sacred Balance hosted by David Suzuki and Return to Nepal and River of Sand both featuring Bruce Cockburn.
And just a few more announcements:
- Our new website just launched and features a wealth of information about each program we produce. Let us know what you think.
- Kensington’s 30th anniversary is on November 6th and Director and Executive Producer, Robert Lang, and the team are looking forward to a celebration!
We’ve got some fantastic developments on the go, and I hope you’ll join us and check back here for more updates.
