One Warm Line (1988)

This popular one-hour documentary is a celebration of the life and music of Canadian musical legend Stan Rogers, through lyrical interpretation of his music and interviews with Stan, his colleagues and family.

One Warm Line premiered on CBC, and was broadcast by Bravo, Vision, and many other Canadian broadcasters. In 2014, by popular demand, an expanded and enhanced version was released on DVD. Available through info@kensingtontv.com

SYNOPSIS

Stan Rogers was a great singer/songwriter who touched the elusive spirit of Canada. He was larger than life. Before dying in a tragic accident at the age of 33, he was already well on his way to becoming a national icon. Born in Ontario, Rogers’ mother was from Nova Scotia and much of his music was influenced by his summers there. One Warm Line captures the man and his music and has captivated millions of viewers.
